Our Chicks
- Received as 'day old' chicks

We purchase our chicks from a local hatchery in Eastern Ontario and receive them as “day olds” (meaning they are 1-day old). The chicks are by regulation vaccinated to prevent Marek's disease, but they receive no other vaccines and are never exposed to any chemical or pesticides. The chicks we raise are called White Rock, an extra heavy meat-type bird that has been bred for high efficiency conversion of feed into meat.
